Jessica is a Senior Fund Manager with Social Innovation Fund Ireland.
Jessica holds an MSc in Mental Health Recovery and Social Inclusion from the University of Hertfordshire. She also graduated with an M.A. in Drama and Theatre from NUI, Galway following undergraduate studies in Speech and Language Therapy in the UK. She is an Advanced Level WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Trainer, and a Recovery Principles Facilitator. She also trained as a Mental Health First Aid Trainer with Scotland’s NHS.
Jessica has worked in the Education, Disability, Arts and Community Development sectors in Ireland creating local and strategic partnerships to effect positive social change. She is focused on capacity building with people who are marginalised in society, supporting mental health recovery and exploring arts and social inclusion.
Jessica’s work is informed by her study of optimism, social role valorisation theory, community development principles and the values that underpin the recovery philosophy.
When she’s not working on her tiny dream home in the West, Jessica likes to dip her toe in the Atlantic.
